How to Apply Henna Paste

1.	Apply henna paste to clean dry skin.
2.	Leave the henna on the skin for at least 2 hours, preferably 4 or more hours, particularly in cooler climates.
3.	After several hours, scrape off the henna paste. Do not wash it off. Avoid wetting the area for as long as possible. Wait until the next day to shower if you can.
4.	The stain will be light orange upon paste removal and will darken to brown over the next 24-72 hours.
5.	Henna tattoos last 1 - 3 weeks, depending on individual skin types and aftercare.
6.	Avoid chlorinated water and avoid scrubbing your henna designs. Use moisturizer to keep the skin from exfoliating.
