The star size is 1/8". These are not suitable for long-term storage of a water-based formula.  For example: If you use them in an aloe gel base, only mix small quantities at a time, as these may dissolve over time.  They are more suitable for use in our glitter creme base, as dry glitter, or for other art projects.
